Sexiest Men Alive Network : Matthew McConaughey

Matthew David McConaughey was born on November 4th, 1969 in Uvalde, Texas. Matthew started his career in 1991 by being cast in many student films and commercials. From ther, in 1993,e he appeared in his first big movie " Dazed and confused" which was after meeting casting director Don Phillips at a bar near the University of Texas at Austin. He followed by being ina few differntthings such as: Angels in the Outfield, Texas Chainsaw Massacre:The Next Generation, Boys on the Side, and the television series Unsolved Mysteries. He then won MTV's best breakthrough award for the role of the lawyer "Jake Brigance" in the 1996 film A Time to Kill, based on the John Grisham novel of the same name. Since then, he was recognied as a great actor and was casted in many other movies like Contact, Amistad, The Newton Boys, Edtv and U-571.

After 2000, he was sort of type-casted in romantic comedies such as The Wedding Planner and How to lose a Guy in 10 Days, whioch both did very well. This was followed bby a low-vudget movie Tiptoes, opposite Kate Beckinsale,then in Two For The Money as a protege to Al Pacino's gambling mogul, and in Frailty. After this, he appeared in Sahara, along with Penelope Cruz and Steve Zahn. As part of the network, one thing for sure is that he is definitely one of the sexiest men alive! He was granted this statement by People's magazine in 2005.
