Johnny Depp was born on June 9th, 1963 in Owensboro, Kentucky. Johnny being raised in Flroida, was not always thinking of becoming an actor, but he did have hopes in becoming a rock star! When he was 15 years old, he dropped out of high school to persue his dreams by joining a bunch of garage bands such as The Kids. As those dreams did not become reality, while he was married to his former wife, Lori Anne Allison, one day they went to Los Angeles then who introduced him to actor Nicolas Cage, which suggested that he get into acting. From there on, it opened his eyes to acting and made his debut in A Nightmare on Elm Street, in 1984. He also replaced Jeff Yagher in the role of undercover cop Tommy Hanson in the popular TV series "21 Jump Street" in 1987. After playing a few parts in young teen audience type movies in 1990, he was given one of the classic movies we have all seen: Edward Scissorhands. This character showed to critics and viewers that Johnny is very talented as an actor who is not type casted to play only 1 type of role.

Johnny is definitely one of the most versatile actors we know today. He has gone on to play in the best movies of the 21st century such as Pirates of the Caribbean, which has made quite the stir. Depp has also dated quite a bit of women throughout the years. No ladies, he is not a free man he is currently engaged since 1998 to Vanessa Paradis, a french singer/actress, which whom he has had 2 kids with, Lily-Rose Melody -born May 27, 1999 and Jack - born April 9, 2002. Before Vanessa, he was also dating famous people such as Jennifer Grey, Winona Ryder and Kate Moss and was married to Lori Anne Allison in 1983 but they divorced in 1985.
